Stewardship, Responsibility, and the Future of Charles Al Sidaoui’s The Yes Collection

At the 17th edition of Abu Dhabi Art last week, renowned Dubai collectors Charles and Philippe Al Sidaoui of The Yes Collection joined our CEO, Dr. Marsha Lipton, to share with our audience their journey into collecting and to take part in a focused discussion on what it means to be responsible stewards of the artworks in their care. They spoke about the responsibility they feel toward the artists they support, the communities that engage with their collection, and the legacy they hope to preserve.

A key part of their stewardship philosophy involves not only protecting works from environmental risks as they lend pieces for public viewing, but also adopting advanced tools that support the long-term integrity and provenance of the collection. In our conversation, they reflected on how Numeraire’s DPP technology contributes to documenting and preserving the authenticity of works so the collection can be passed forward with clarity and trust.

The video was filmed in the Hilton Contemporary booth, one of Numeraire’s esteemed partners. Our sincere thanks to Charles and Philippe Al Sidaoui and to Arica Hilton of Hilton Contemporary for welcoming us into their beautiful space featuring works by Yasemine Aslan Bakiri, Adonis, Ana Castillo, among other acclaimed artists.
